i was on my way out to this wedding, and i got an inquiry from tommy. he wrote me and said, “my fiancee are getting married and it’s awesome,” described his wedding as unorthodox & listed his shoot ideas as underwater/paint/in the air/ something crazy.
i had a grin on my face and thought, man i have to have them as a couple.
tommy & elise wanted one thing with their engagement session: for their guests to receive the images in the mail and be like, sh*t, this wedding is going to crazy. we cant wait for their day.
i cant even tell you how it warms my little heart to be approached by people like tommy & elise. people who are in love and think its awesome. people who plan a wedding and for all their friends to camp out at the site, make a weekend of it. people want to fling paint at each other, people who are not even a blink of boring. people who want me to be their to document it.
go hard or go home. tommy & elise are getting married.
i cant wait for their wedding. obviously.
thanks to T&E for trusting me on this shoot. one of those things you head into knowing that you don’t know what’s gonna happen but you’re gonna shoot it and make it awesome. tackling the unknown.
if you like me. or just my work, you can like (not lick) me over on my FB photography page. where I put up more individual shots and sneak peeks before they’re ever up on my blog.
